The Brown-headed Gull, นกนางนวลธรรมดา, is a small gull which breeds in the high plateaus of central Asia from Tajikistan to Ordos in Inner Mongolia. It is migratory, wintering on the coasts of South Asia and Southeast Asia and large inland lakes of the Indian Subcontinent. The gulls only have brown heads during their mating season, the rest of the year, their heads are white with a black spot behind the eye.
