Wat Asokaram, วัดอโศการาม, is located in Muang Samut Prakan, Samut Prakan, near Bangkok, Thailand. Asokaram means “Monastery of no sorrow”. As one of the province’s major temples, Wat Asokaram has many interesting features, including Phra Thutangkha Chedi (Dhutanga Chedi) which is a complex of 13 smaller chedis, each of which represents one of 13 duties of a monk during any religious trip; and Wihan Wisuthithammarangsi, a three story building with four porches and a superstructure in the form of a Mondop.
