Wat Luang Pu Supa, วัดหลวงปู่สุภา,
also called Wat Silsuparam, วัดศีลสุภาราม,
is located in the Chalong area of Mueang Phuket, or Phuket Town (เมืองถูเก็ต), Phuket, Thailand.
The temple is a relatively new temple on the island. This temple is famous mainly because of its founder Luang Pu Supha who is probably one of the most respected and longest-lived monks in modern Thai history (it is said that he was over 110 years old). He dedicated a large part of his life (almost a century to be exact) to being a Buddhist monk spreading the word of dharma and building almost 40 temples and monasteries around the country (three of them are in Phuket). The new Phra Ubosot (Ordination Hall) was still under construction when I was there in 2012. It will be situated above a pond when everything is finished.
