Wat Okat or Wat Okat Si Bua Ban, วัดโอกาส หรือ วัดโอกาสศรีบัวบาน, is located in Tambon Nai Mueang, Amphoe Mueang Nakhon Phanom, Chang Wat Nakhon Phanom, Thailand. Wat Okat is known as the home for two two revered Buddha Images, "Phra Tio" and "Phra Thiam". Some accounts of the two images indicate that they are located in the "Busabok pavilion in front of the principle Buddha image inside the temple's main hall, the two ironwood statues are 39 centimeters high and 60 centimeters tall. Phra Thiam is located on the right side of the principle image, while Phra Tio is on the left. This would indicate that the images are the two shown in DTHNP0257 above." (Tourism Authority of Thailand). Other sources say that the two images are located in the Wihan, and these would be the two images shown in DTHNP0264 above. The Phra Tio image was carved from an ironwood (tio wood) log that had been used as a roller to move a royal barge from its construction site to the river. One log was very difficult to control and was thought to house a protective spirit. That log was used to carve Phra Tio. The two images in the Wihan look more likely to have originated in this way.
