Yellow Goatsbeard has a plethora of common names including, but not limited to, western salsify, yellow salsify, goat's beard, Western goat's beard, fistulous goat's-beard, greater sand goat's-beard, meadow goatsbeard, salsifis majeur, and wild oysterplant. Considered weedy or invasive in some areas. Flowers open early in the day and close by early afternoon and may not open during cloudy or rainy days. | |||||
